Since 2013, artschool.nu has had a clear vision to serve as a knowledge hub for both professional and amateur artists who are passionate about their artistic work and want to grow personally and professionally.
This vision is realized through accessible guidance that everyone can benefit from, regardless of previous experience.
artschool.nu is also ideal for those aspiring to apply for higher art education, as we offer introductions to knowledge and techniques that can support your development as an artist. Additionally, the school provides content and activities specifically designed for children to explore and develop their creative abilities from an early age.
How can art education be free?
artschool.nu is the only online platform offering a complete and free art school at a professional level. The website is an unpaid project, but costs are covered by advertisements. Most of the content is created by the owner and her friends, though other artists have contributed over time.
Note: The number and type of ads each visitor sees are determined by algorithms beyond my control. Please avoid using ad blockers, as the project relies on ad revenue to survive.

artschool.nu is owned and operated by Ane Boa. Ane is a trained architect from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and has supplemented her education with art history courses at the University of Copenhagen. Throughout her life, Ane has also taken courses in various artistic techniques and completed residencies at several art folk high schools. Any errors on the website should be reported directly to Ane. Hopefully, the project will one day have the budget to hire a professional web agency.
